This website presents the ongoing photography project “Vertrautes Land” (roughly: familiar place). It explores the notion of home.

• In the first part (2008), I presented my personal relationship to the landscape of my home in Göttingen, Germany.
• In the second part (2011), I invited people to show me the specific places in the town of Paderborn, Germany, where they feel most at home.
• In the third part (2018), I asked people living in the district of Lehen (Salzburg, Austria), to invite me into their homes and to show me how and where they feel at home.
